Liberty Travel was formed in 1986 initially under the name LL Travel, LL being the initials of the company’s founder, Lionel Landman. Lionel was one of the founders of Jetset, which, from humble beginnings, became one of Australia’s largest travel operators.
Helen Sheppard has worked in the travel industry since 1991. She joined Liberty Travel in 1997 as a senior consultant. Her previous roles were in the UK and Hong Kong. After five years as a senior consultant with Liberty Travel, Helen seized the opportunity to take over the running of the company. With a strong work ethic and a vested interest in the company Helen enjoys getting to know her clients and ensuring they have a positive travel experience. With a passion for exploring the world since childhood, Helen has travelled extensively in Asia, as well as to Europe and North Africa, all over Australia and in the Pacific. This love of travel combined with dedication and resourcefulness have driven Liberty Travel’s success.
